Chapter 2: Gorge Isle

Congrats! You managed to reach the 2nd Island. Obviously in terms of difficulty, Gorge Isle is way harder than Wooded Isle, all the enemies are stronger and tankier, and there are plenty of cliffs where you can easiliy fall into.

I remember that in my run, in this Island I maxed out all the moves that I could, because of its frequent waves of enemies, here in fact there are many Marine soldiers, Zombies and Squirrel Zombies, so use them to power your moves up!

Now let's get into the best strategies to beat this Island's Bosses!

Kuro & Krieg: they are really easy to handle with, just spam strong attacks but if you've got any problem, I'll recommend to power up Robin's Fleur-Fleur ability, so she can hit multiple targets if you charge your A move destroying them, in fact in Normal Mode Kuro hasn't got the barrier, so he'll be stunned to every move you lock on him, while Krieg even tho sometimes he can use the barrier, his AI makes him stand up and doing usually nothing if you stay far enough, so just be prepared when he shoots his missiles with X or Shake Move. The only special you have to worry about is Kuro's: when he uses it, dodge the first attack and then walk in a circle, he shouldn't hit you, while Krieg's one does only Poison damage so even if it hits you, you have enough time to kill him, and you can also create the Antidote when you're at this point so he's no threat.

Gecko Moria: here's finally a tough boss! well... it depends obviously in your luck and your ability. Like Ener Moria has with him an army, in this case composed by 2 types of zombies, the regular zombie and the squirrel. They'll spawn literally every time some of them die, so don't waste time killing them. Talking about Moria, he can be a pain in the ass, because he does a lot of damage, his attacks interrupt your every move apart from the specials, he has got a lot of defense and the most annoying thing is that its AI makes him run away until he's the furthest possible from you, and every time you try to get near, he attacks and stuns you and he's got barrier, so even if you hit him while he's running away he continues unfazed. The strategy I recommend is using God Usopp to attack him at distance with charged shots, spam your dash and use your stronger character to deal the highest damage possible, or also in this battle use robin to hit him from distance with her tracking so you can also hit his Zombies and maybe also hit the Break Rush to gain some HP. Now, his special "Shadow Asgard" usually one shots your current pg, it has tracking so it can hit you wherever you are, but you can dodge it timing your dash to avoid his Black Box: when all the background goes black and he raises his hands, use immediatly your dash and run as much as you can, and remember to use your healing item when needed.
